Hello, My Name is Sharon and I Have Fallen Off the Wagon!!!!

Hello,

My name is Sharon.  I had the Lap Band Surgery January 14, 2010.  I have lost 13 pounds so far.  I know a measly 13 pounds.  I have officially fallen off the wagon, if you will.  I didn't want to tell people I got the surgery because I am such a poor reflection of it.  So I am going to do something sooo new.

This is what I am going to do.  For the next two years I will document my weight loss on this blog.  I know this is very ambitious.  Maybe I am having a delusion of grandeur moment. All I know is I will give it the old college try.  I want to help myself of course.  I also want to help other who have fallen like me to pick ourselves up and be successful.

WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY!!!! FEEL FREE TO LEAVE COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK!!!!!!!

  1. Sharon if you fall off the wagon today, you can always get back on tomorrow. This reminds me of when I was trying to quit smoking. I had 2 relapses, but eventually I kicked the habit. I think it's the single most difficult thing I've ever had to do. The withdrawals were so extreme and that's the only thing that's keeping me from going back to it.
I'm on my weight loss grind now too. I'm sick of being borderline with high blood pressure and facing the potential of diabetes. It will be hard, but this time I think my head is in a place where I can battle the hunger pangs.
Recently having a stroke warning was really my final straw. I have friends that have worse conditions than I do. How come they don't have strokes or HPB? All I know is my 5'3 frame is not liking the extra poundage and I've had enough.
